Two generations. One passion. Bringing people and brands together.

Behind RiverEvent lies a story of a dedicated family – father Raymond and son Axel Scheepers – built on years of experience, strong relationships and a shared passion for architecture, construction and innovation.

For 41 years, we have been building bridges between manufacturers and architects. What began as personal visits to architects has grown into an extensive network of professionals and brands within the construction sector.

Over the years, we have learnt one thing above all else: the best business relationships are built on personal contact, trust and inspiring encounters.

From visits to architects to a unique event concept

It was this conviction that led to the creation of RiverEvent in 2021.

We didn’t want to organise yet another traditional trade fair, but rather to create a space where architects, interior designers, construction professionals and manufacturers could meet in a pleasant and high-quality setting.

And where better to do that than on board an exclusive event ship?

With Blue Rhapsody, we bring together leading brands, innovative products and the right professionals in a unique setting. No crowded exhibition halls or endless corridors, but a relaxed atmosphere where there is time for genuine conversations, inspiration and new business opportunities.

Today, RiverEvent is sailing through various cities across Belgium and Germany over the period of one week, always with the same aim: to foster meaningful connections between people who are helping to shape the future of architecture and construction.

Personally involved, from start to finish

Despite RiverEvent’s growth, we have always kept our approach deliberately personal.

As father and son, we combine years of market knowledge and experience with new ideas, ambition and a fresh perspective on the future.

We believe in quality over quantity, in long-term relationships and in creating an environment where both visitors and exhibitors feel welcome.

After all, RiverEvent isn’t just about products or innovations. It’s about people, trust and the connections that arise from them.

And that is exactly what motivates us every day.

Welcome on board!
